Classroom of the Future Project:
Creating Flexible and Active Learning Designs
The NPS community is invited to review the designs and capabilities of the four Flexible Learning Experience (FLEx) Spaces that are on schedule for instructional use winter FY2020. Research supporting active learning environments, their pedagogical gains, as well as case studies showcasing different universities' applications of these environments can be found on the TLC CoF Active Learning page.
Additionally, in order to better assess the needs of the NPS teaching and learning community, all are encouraged to utilize the classroom feedback form to provide feedback regarding current learning spaces. Currently, pilots we hope to receive feedback on include: power solutions in classrooms for student laptops, touchscreen monitors for instructors, and glass boards.
