Sponsored Programs Financial Analysts

The Sponsored Programs Financial Analyst (SPFA) plays an important role during project execution by assisting the PI/PD with the accounting and accountability requirements of sponsored programs. SPFAs provide accurate and timely financial information via financial reports; advises on administrative or business transaction requirements; reviews expenditures and assists in the projection of costs for future requirements; maintains accurate project files.

Financial Delegation - Assignation

PIs/PDs may delegate the authority to initiate expenditures on his/her account to their faculty/staff involved in the project by completing the assignation memo and forwarding to RSPO.  For more information on the assignation process and responsibilities, see SPPGM-14-07
