The Department of Oceanography invites applications for postdoct positions through National Research Council (NRC) Research Associateship Program. Applicants must have a  Ph.D. Degree in physical oceanography,  ocean engineering, ocean acoustics, environmental science, geoscience, mechanical engineering, or closely related field. Technical knowledge in one or more areas of numerical modeling, data assimilation, FORTRAN, Matlab, C++,  survey technology and experience in sea-going data collection, satellite and/or airborne remote sensing is required. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research with NRC advisers.
