European Security Professor
The National Security Affairs Department is seeking applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of assistant/associate professor interested in research and teaching in the field of European politics with a specialization in European security issues. Relevant expertise might include the politics of the NATO alliance, domestic politics of EU and NATO members’ foreign and security policy, European-U.S. relations or EU-Russian relations. Candidates should demonstrate a strong potential for teaching excellence and scholarly research. The successful candidate must also be prepared to teach introductory masters-level courses on the government and politics of Europe and on European Security Institutions, as well as courses in her/his/their specific research specialty.
