Professor for International/Comparative Political Economy
The Department of National Security Affairs at the Naval Postgraduate School seeks applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of assistant/associate professor interested in research and teaching in the fields of either international or comparative political economy. Specialists with regional expertise in Europe or the Middle East and/or with a relevance to national security affairs, defense policy, or maritime policy are especially encouraged to apply. Relevant expertise might include international economic negotiations, global/regional economic regimes, comparative economic policies, trade sanctions, and the political economy of violence. Candidates should demonstrate a strong potential for teaching excellence and scholarly research. The successful candidate must also be prepared to teach an introductory Masters-level course on the politics of global economic relations or comparative economic systems, as well as courses in his/her specific research specialty.
