IDARM Adjunct Faculty
Dr. Keebom Kang retired in October 2018 from the Graduate School of Business and Public Policy of the Naval Postgraduate School after teaching more than 30 years as a logistics professor. He also served as the Chair of the Operations and Logistics Management program for 8 years. He teaches in the areas of logistics engineering, supply chain management, operations management, and modeling & simulation. He is a frequent guest speaker for the IDARM courses on defense logistics, defense-focused supply chain management, reliability/readiness and life cycle management. He has taught IDARM international courses in more than 20 countries over 16 years (2002-2018). He received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. His research interests are in the areas of logistics, and modeling & simulation. Dr. Kang has published many theoretical and applied papers in Operations Research, Naval Logistics Quarterly, IEEE Transactions in Communications, IIE Transactions, Telecommunication Management, and many other technical journals and conference proceedings.
