Civilian Academic Development
CIVILIAN ACADEMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Team NPS, after a lot of input from faculty and staff we have updated our Civilian Academic Development Program instruction (formerly NAVPGSCOLINST 12410.1A.). This instruction provides NPS civilian employees a development opportunity by authorizing part-time enrollment in an academic program or individual courses at NPS. All NPS AD, GS, and WG employees, full-time and part-time working at least half-time, who have been employed at NPS for three months are eligible for this program. Employees must sign a continued service agreement along with their course registration packet prior to taking any course.
Have you ever found yourself looking at a blank web page and were not sure what you were planning on typing in the search bar? We sometimes laugh it off as temporary memory loss, but it probably is more likely that it is simple information overload — with a little stress added in for good measure — that is keeping us from remembering our original intention.
NPS is committed to ensuring that all persons are afforded equal opportunity for employment, advancement, and treatment regardless of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age or disability.
