New President's Student Council Leadership Look to the Future
By MC2 Michael Ehrlich
U.S. Army Maj. Tim Ball, pictured in front of Herrmann Hall, Jan. 5, and Army Capt. Will Campbell take the helm as newly-elected Chair and Vice Chair of the President's Student Council (PSC). The PSC acts as a liaison between NPS students and university leadership in an effort to address academic, administrative and quality of life issues.
"Will and I are excited to continue the excellent work that has been done by Lt. Cmdrs. Colleen McDonald and Jesse-Larou Walsh as the previous Chair and Vice Chair," said Ball.
An Army Special Forces officer and student in the Department of Defense Analysis, Ball hopes to enhance the NPS experience for students with volunteer opportunities and community outreach programs that support the Monterey Peninsula.
"As we enter the new year, we will be looking for new members of the PSC to help us in expanding our community outreach efforts, and recruiting volunteers from the student body to help us give back to the Monterey community," added Ball.
