GSBPP recently renewed its accreditation with the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs and Administration (NASPAA), just a few months after the school's reaccreditation with the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
Snider, who Gates refers to as a "NASPAA guru" weighed in on the importance of maintaining both accreditations.
"GSBPP's faculty is committed to maintaining dual accreditations from both the AACSB and NASPAA, each of which has its own standards and conducts its own reviews," said Snider. "They give our students and external stakeholders confidence that our programs are rigorous and relevant."
To earn an accreditation from a reviewing organization, a comprehensive review of a school's mission, strategy, curricula and faculty is conducted annually, with a focus on assessment and improvement. GSBPP offers defense-focused business education to some 600 graduate students in both resident and distance learning programs.
