Professor Feroz Khan of the NSA department has recently been published twice. First, "Burying the Hatchet: The Case for a ‘Normal’ Nuclear South Asia," was published in Arms Control Today. In the article, he discusses how the rivalry of the two nuclear-armed states of India and Pakistan present the global nonproliferation regime with a singficant challenge. He argues the most promising approach to the challenge is multilateral negotiations to establish criteria that both countries must meet.

The second published article, Khan co-authored a chapter in this edited volume “Pakistan, MIRVs and Counterforce Targeting” in The Lure and Pitfalls of MIRVs: From the First to the Second Nuclear Age (Washington D.C: Henry L Stimson Center, May 2016).

The book was launched last week in D.C.
