The Naval Postgraduate School now offers Cybersecurity certificates through distance learning to assist you in creating a strong foundational understanding of computer network defense, vulnerabilities and exploitations. Learn how to function in real-life operational situations and prepare for potential attacks.  Analyze and discover malware, decipher attack mechanisms, and counteract aggressive networks.

The Cybersecurity Fundamentals graduate certificate (Curriculum: 256 DL / 257 Res) is intended to provide a rigorous foundation upon which to build knowledge and skills in computer network defense, attack and exploitation. 

The Cybersecurity Defense graduate certificate (Curriculum: 258 DL / 259 Res) is intended to provide students with a detailed understanding of, and ability to, function in real operational situations involving cyber security.

The Cybersecurity Adversarial Techniques graduate certificate (Curriculum: 260 DL / 261 Res) is intended to provide students a detailed understanding of, and ability to, function in real operational situations where adversarial techniques are being used.

The Information Systems Security Engineering (ISSE) graduate certificate (Curriculum: 270) is intended to prepare individuals to apply security analysis during the lifecycle of systems.

The Applied Cyber Operations graduate certificate (Curriculum: 225 DL / 226 Res) is intended to enable DoD and U.S. Government personnel to effectively employ cyber capabilities in an operational context and to prepare students to maintain a high state of readiness for cyber operations in the face of hostile action.

The Cyber Operations Infrastructure graduate certificate (Curriculum: 227 DL/ 228 Res) is intended to prepare students to deploy cyber-specific assets appropriately within the DoD cyber infrastructure.
