Through the partnership, 4,613 officers have earned Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) certification since the program's inception in September 1999.
"It was great, I think that's one of the things that makes NPS special compared to other schools," said Holm. "I jumped on the opportunity to attend and I'm really glad I did."
Drake presided over the ceremony where a total of 59 U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Army officers earned their NWC Command and Staff diploma with JPME Phase I certification.
"I didn't realize how unique this exposure to the other services would be, and the different thought processes that each branch has," said Holm. "I didn't realize how much I needed to learn from the other branches, until I was exposed to them."
